Well, I'm not really sure what to write here as I have never had to write much about myself before!
First things first, I am Dave Alcock (davido_labido) , a 27-Year-old modder from the UK. I live in Nottingham, however, I work in Stoke - On - Trent as a fixer on an engineering team. As I have to work away, my time at home I'd limited but when I am at home, I love to strip down computer cases and try my best to make them look a little different!
I started to mod thanks to some of the guys from OcUK getting me into water cooling. I used to work with one of the lads from there and we decided to go for a beer. Whilst we were there, he talked me into buying a new computer, with full water cooling setup. Of course, I wanted to build it myself and whilst I was building I thought of a few things I could change to make the case work better for me. I got out the dremel and that was it, I found a new hobby. Overclockers.co.uk has since cost me thousands of pounds as I am now addicted to building and modding! I wouldn't change it for the world though, it's so much fun. (Although I think my partner hates it when I am spray painting in the living room!!!!)
After a while, I picked up some great sponsors which have really helped me save some pennies and have also allowed me to use products which are usually far out of my price range. Companies such as ASUS, XSPC, EKWB, HyperX, MSI, E22 and Mayhems (and many more) have helped me out so much over the last few years I don't think I could ever thank them enough.
Some of my Mods have been to events such as Computex Taiwan and also Multiplay Insomnia events, sending my builds to events or attending myself always puts a smile on my face. I still see myself as a "hobby modder" I certainly do not think of myself as a "Pro". Professionals are people who do things and get paid for it. I don't care about the money, I do builds because I love to play with new hardware, try new things and see if I can push myself a little harder for each build. Hopefully I can do this in the Tt invitational!

Finally, I would like to say a massive thank you to Thermaltake for inviting me to do this build. I am very honoured that I have been noticed and also good luck to the other contestants, having seeing my competition , I am up against some excellent modders, it's a honor to be seen in the same list as the guys that inspire me!
